About This Spot

Stepping into Thai Paradise in Ridgway feels like discovering a quiet retreat tucked away on a sunny corner of North Cora Street. The moment you arrive, a warm and inviting presence greets you—highlighted by a cheerful sunflower at the entrance and the gentle hum of conversation drifting from its outdoor patio. The pace here is unhurried, with a laid-back rhythm that encourages savoring both food and company.

This is a place where the fragrances of Southeast Asia meet the fresh mountain air, and where every dish carries a quiet generosity. Whether seated inside or enjoying the soft Colorado breeze outside, the atmosphere feels approachable and relaxed. Friendly, attentive staff move thoughtfully through the space, adding to the sense that you are somewhere cared for, not just a stop for a meal.

Here, the experience is richly layered—the spice in a bowl of rich, comforting curry, the crisp and delicate brightness of spring rolls shared between friends, or the satisfying warmth of a noodle dish prepared just right. You find the flavors balanced and honest, from the subtly herbal notes in a fragrant broth to the unexpected twist of pineapple folded into fried rice. It’s food meant to both nourish and welcome you into the moment.

What makes Thai Paradise special isn’t just the quality of the dishes or the generous portions, but the human moments they foster—the smiles exchanged over a shared Pad Thai, the quiet contentment of sipping jasmine tea after a gentle hike nearby, the easy conversation sparked while watching the sunset from the patio. It’s a space where the spirit of Southeast Asia feels quietly at home in this corner of Colorado.

Delicious flavors, very fresh ingredients and big portions. My husband and I shared one dish and an appetizer and were satisfied. Staff was friendly and attentive. Great place! (The photo shows one pad Thai dish split between us)

Only 5 minutes from the Orvis Hot Springs. Generous portions and everything was flavorful. Mild spice level was just right around 2/10. Hot spice level was perfect at about 7/10. Fried veggie egg rolls and crab cheese rangoons were good. Pad see ewe with scallops was really good with many pieces of scallops. Basil fried rice with duck was delicious and the portion was massive. The wonton soup with chicken was balanced with a flavorful broth and proportionate amount of veggies. The massaman curry with white rice is worth a recommendation. The thai iced tea had a perfect ratio of cream to tea.

The Khao Pad was so good and the service was great. The sunflower by the entrance makes the place feel so welcoming.

We traveled from Arizona to this beautiful town and decided to eat here, and let me tell you, my husband and I loved the food; it's a 10/10. We ordered a pineapple fried rice dish and a vegetable soup with extra chicken, and it was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place if you truly want to eat something amazing. We hope to come back soon.
